Heal Yourself and Heal the World

What’s beautiful (but not necessarily important) about energetic healing work, is that the more you transform your consciousness on an individual level, the more it will resound exponentially on a global level.

You’ll hear a lot of gurus and healers promote this idea: We have to get well so that we can bring others with us. It’s god’s work! It’s our mission! The more we raise our vibrations, the more it raises the vibrations on this planet.

You’ll also find a lot of gatherings that are designed to promote expressly this purpose: To send healing to the world! To change the vibrations of world leaders. To stop war! Etc, etc.

Actually, I’m not trying to say what’s true one way or the other. It’s entirely possible this work is helping the planet. It’s also entirely possible it’s doing nothing because everyone’s on their own individual journey.

What I would like to point out is where thinking that your healing work can change the world can be dangerous and derailing.

The truth is, the only person whose healing you can truly be responsible for is your own. If you’re racing to take responsibility for the healing of others, it is likely there is something discordant in your system that is unresolved. Your focus on the need for others to improve and heal is most likely pointing to something you’re believing in that is not wholly true in the language of energy.

The energetic truth is that all vibrations are equal under the sun. Everything is already perfect exactly the way that it is. Everyone is where they’re meant to be. I’m not saying that we can’t help lift up our brothers and sisters. I’m not saying there aren’t people who are starving, or being abused, or living in extreme states of pain. What I’m saying is that, if something in your energy is attaching to any of that information, this is something that is going to hold you back from advancing spiritually.

You will want to examine those attachments so that you can come to those in suffering from a place of love, understanding, and acceptance. That will be far more healing to them than your guilt, shame, fear, and anger at the universe for creating such suffering. If there is nothing in your system that needs others to heal or change, that will actually allow them to energetically access that change for themselves.

Spiritually speaking, all vibrations are equal. Nothing is wrong with anyone or anything. How we choose to act in reality with regard to suffering is its own thing. The thing is, you can actually release the energy, let go of your anger, let go of your righteousness, your grief and sorrow, your guilt, shame, and regret around the suffering of others, and still after the fact choose to help and heal your fellow humans. Heal the energy, and the choice becomes clear.

Hold on to the energy, and you will find yourself on a continual rollercoaster of emotional and energetic ups and downs.
